Original 1955 Gibson Les Paul Custom
In that very short period of 8 years between, 1952 and 1960 guitar design and sound were changed forever, with a tiny amount of these legendary guitars built in this time, finding an all-original example in great condition is next to impossible!
We had to find the perfect guitar that’s why it has taken us over six months to source this stunning example we presented with here. Every bit of this Les Paul is original from the Kalamazoo factory in 1955 (except strings thankfully) from the excellent P90 bridge and Alnico 5 neck pickup to the tuners, hardware and even the jack socket, everything is as it should be and in brilliant condition.
The combination of those legendary lightweight tone woods, immaculate build quality and legendary pickups results in a guitar that sounds every bit as good as the legendary status suggests. The guitar rings and sustains with every note with a magical combination of warmth and brightness that is just too hard to describe and the ability to roll down the volume and have the guitar clean up producing yet another jaw dropping tone is why these guitars are the finest in the world!
