Fender FSR Player Stratocaster In Black + Gold Hardware

The iconic Fender Stratocaster. Locked and loaded with some beautiful gold hardware, a sleek black finish and a classic maple neck.

The Fender FSR Player Stratocaster has an Alder body that delivers a strong, clear, full-bodied sound, and has been used by Fender since the mid-50s. The neck is made from maple, a durable wood, and has a modern ‘C’ shape profile making it comfortable to play. The fretboard is also made from maple, which provides a snappy response, and has 22 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5” radius.

The FSR Player Stratocaster has a 2-point synchronised tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles. A 2-point tremolo means it has two mounting points that attach it to the guitar’s body, as opposed to six. In general, it makes the guitar stay in tune better. There’s also standard cast/sealed tuning machines and a synthetic bone nut.

For pickups, this Fender Strat has three Player Series Alnico 5 Strat single-coil pickups, which have a higher output, increased bass, and a clear high end. This classic SSS pickup configuration provides great articulation, brightness and is incredibly versatile. The 5-position blade lets you easily switch between different tones with ease.

This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

The total amount of tickets available for this competition is (5999).

Live draw date: April 20, 2023. We never extend our draws regardless of how many tickets have sold. If a competition sells out early then we will bring the draw date forward to the next available live draw.

You may enter this competition up to 1 times.

Your ticket number(s) will be randomly allocated when ordering and you will receive an email confirmation of these numbers. They are also available to see in your account on our website.

The live draw will take place on the Guitar Gear Giveaway Facebook page and the Guitar Talk Youtube channel using Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from all Entrants.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Apple or Google. By entering the competitions, Entrants agree that neither Facebook, Apple, nor Google have any liability and are not responsible for the administration or promotion of this competition.

How does it work?

We host 2 live draws every single week – Monday and Thursday at 6pm. The draws stream live on YouTube and Facebook.

Our fixed odds competitions have a limited amount of tickets and clearly show the ticket price, number of tickets and the draw date.

There are no extensions and no rollovers; we draw the winner regardless of how many tickets are sold.

Are your guitars new or preloved?

Most of what we do is pre-loved, but there are also a number of guitars on the site that are new (Instant Win competitions, for example). We always state in the prize description whether a guitar is new or pre-loved, and in most cases, we also add the year and a condition description.

How do I get my ticket number(s)?

Once your order has been placed your ticket number(s) will be randomly allocated and will show on your order confirmation. They will also be emailed to you, and will be available in the my account area.

What is an Auto Draw and how does it work?

Auto draw prizes are drawn using a third-party (Think Zap) random draw algorithm. The Auto Draw will take place as soon as a prize is sold out or on the guaranteed draw date/time shown on the prize page.

All prizes have a guaranteed draw date and winner, even if the tickets don’t sell out.
