We have NEVER extended a competition and NEVER will. Regardless of how many tickets sell the competitions will close when the timer runs out. Most of the time our tickets sell out long before the timer runs out and often draws get brought forward. However, if the tickets don’t sell out we will do the draw no matter what.

We stream our live draws on Facebook and Youtube. We host 2 regular live draws every week on Monday and Thursday at 6pm. If these ever have to move we will always announce it in advance on our social media and to our email list.

We run regular live draws that are streamed to Facebook and YouTube. We would love as many of you as possible to tune in live but you can of course watch it back at a later date. We also post our live draw results on our website, Facebook and send them out to our email list. 

If you are a winner, you will get an initial email for us requesting some details so we can verify everything and then we will be in touch within 72 hours with delivery information for your prize. 

If you don’t receive the email or aren’t aware you have won then don’t worry, we will always try to find a way to get in contact with you. 

Up-to-date contact information is very important! You can check and manage your details through your Account.

Every time you enter a competition, we send an email with your order details and ticket number(s). You can also find your tickets in the My Account section on our website.

We don’t publish full entry lists on our website to protect our community’s privacy. All of your ticket numbers are available to view in your account and order emails. However, we do archive 6 months of full entry lists so if there is a particular competition you entered that you have a query on, please just contact us.

Gear Points are Guitar Gear Giveaway’s own rockin’ currency. You can win gear points as bonus prizes, during live draws, social media giveaways and more. Each Gear Point is worth 1p. So 100 Gear Points = £1 to spend on our website or app.

Everyone who selects the correct answer to the question is entered into the draw. The winner will then be chosen at random from all the correct entries during a live draw using Googles random number generator. We host our live draws on Facebook and YouTube. 

Not necessarily. We offer a range of prizes from rare vintage guitars too brand new ones. We always give as much information and detail as possible on each competition page. Including a series of professional photos. 

We work within a heavily regulated industry and we take our business very seriously. Your trust is very important to us! 

All of us working here at Guitar Gear Giveaway are very public on not only our social media but we also all play in bands and interact with our community, Guitar Talk. We have nothing to hide and often host live events and gigs where you can even come and see us! 

We regularly update our social media with our winners’ stories. We also have a Winners page where you can see all our past winners and the amazing prizes they have won. 

Please only buy tickets through our website, and follow our official social media accounts. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. 

Around 4 times per year we run a dedicated charity competition. This can be anything from an off the shelf guitar, and experience or even a custom designed instrument! Every penny from our charity competitions goes tot he charity. Not profit, every penny raised. You can see our charitable efforts so far on our Charity Page.

The competition’s closing date and Live Draw times can be found on our website on the page of the competition you are entering. Please remember that if a competition sells out fast we will bring the draw forward so you aren’t waiting around for days!
