One of our absolute favourite guitars of all time and this is one of the exceptional 120th Anniversary models!
In the early 1960s (1962-3) Gibson’s legendary President; Ted McCarty hired car designer Ray Dietrich to design a guitar that looked as cool as the American 50s cars, luckily for us what we got was not only one of the most stunning guitars ever designed but arguably one of the most tonefull, resonant and longest sustaining guitars ever made! Much of this is down to the neck thru body construction transmitting every bit of those string vibrations straight to the body/neck resulting in a guitar that literally vibrates as you play. Add to that the mini humbucking pickups allowing you to cut right through the mix with just the right the amount of bottom and top end response.
