With legendary looks, sound and feel which made it one of Gibson’s most iconic basses. The perfectly proportioned short scale length is actually a big part of this sound! While the short scale length of the SG Bass is enjoyed by the smaller handed, it’s also enjoyed my those looking for a strong fundamental tone of which this short scale bass is known and loved. As expected, the solid mahogany body has deeply sculpted scarfing and the rounded profile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard feels familiar and comfortable.

Live draw date: August 21, 2023. We never extend our draws regardless of how many tickets have sold. If a competition sells out early then we will bring the draw date forward to the next available live draw.

The live draw will take place on the Guitar Gear Giveaway Facebook page and the Guitar Talk Youtube channel using Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from all Entrants.

Are your guitars new or preloved?
Most of what we do is pre-loved, but there are also a number of guitars on the site that are new (Instant Win competitions, for example). We always state in the prize description whether a guitar is new or pre-loved, and in most cases, we also add the year and a condition description.
How do I get my ticket number(s)?
Once your order has been placed your ticket number(s) will be randomly allocated and will show on your order confirmation. They will also be emailed to you, and will be available in the my account area.
