Hand wired in the USA using only the finest components such as a vintage-voiced output transformer, hand-wound by Triad Magnetics, the company responsible for the transformers in the classic “tweed” amps of the 1950s, immaculate wiring throughout and the attention to detail that Dr Z are known for.
Sound wise with the gain set low it is reminiscent of a classic blackface Fender with a touch more mids making notes shimmer and sparkle, as you wind up the gain things move into full 50s tweed grind and saturation. With the excellent effects loop, variable boost switch and global level control this amp is as happy at home as it is on the stage and don’t let the 15 watts put you off this amp has all the volume you would ever need!

How does it work?
We host 2 live draws every single week – Monday and Thursday at 6pm. The draws stream live on YouTube and Facebook.
Our fixed odds competitions have a limited amount of tickets and clearly show the ticket price, number of tickets and the draw date.
There are no extensions and no rollovers; we draw the winner regardless of how many tickets are sold.
Are your guitars new or preloved?
Most of what we do is pre-loved, but there are also a number of guitars on the site that are new (Instant Win competitions, for example). We always state in the prize description whether a guitar is new or pre-loved, and in most cases, we also add the year and a condition description.
How do I get my ticket number(s)?
Once your order has been placed your ticket number(s) will be randomly allocated and will show on your order confirmation. They will also be emailed to you, and will be available in the my account area.
What is an Auto Draw and how does it work?
Auto draw prizes are drawn using a third-party (Think Zap) random draw algorithm. The Auto Draw will take place as soon as a prize is sold out or on the guaranteed draw date/time shown on the prize page.
All prizes have a guaranteed draw date and winner, even if the tickets don’t sell out.
