Here is your chance to win the brand new Gibson USA Greeny Les Paul, based on one of the most coveted guitars of all time!
Few guitars are as illustrious or coveted as “Greeny”, an iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard that has been owned by some of rock’s most influential guitar players. With a unique sound that’s as recognisable as the guitar itself, “Greeny” was previously owned by Peter Green and used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac. It was then later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist, and now, “Greeny” is owned by Kirk Hammett of Metallica — passing through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Greeny’s distinctive sound comes partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position, due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity.
The Gibson Kirk Hammett “Greeny” Les Paul Standard was inspired by this legendary guitar, and gives players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of “Greeny” for themselves! An Original Series hardshell case is included.

The live draw will take place on the Guitar Gear Giveaway Facebook page and the Guitar Talk Youtube channel using Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from all Entrants.

How are winners chosen?
Live Draws – Every one of our Live Draws can be watched on our Facebook and YouTube page. We use a random number generator to determine the winner. If a competition does not sell out and the random number generator returns an unsold ticket number, we will generate a new number until we have a winner. We prove our streams are live by being interactive and reading comments. We love to talk with you all about guitars, gear and music.
Instant Wins – Instant Win comps have a pre-determined list of prizes with ticket numbers. If your ticket numbers for that competition match any on the list, you instantly win that prize. End draws are either a Live Draw or Auto Draw; this will be shown on the competition page.
Auto Draws – Auto draws are automatically drawn using the Think Zap random draw algorithm. The Auto Draw will take place as soon as a prize is sold out OR on the guaranteed draw date/time shown on the prize page. All prizes have a guaranteed draw date and winner regardless of ticket sellout.
