A legendary guitar and a legendary guitarist!
Few guitars are as illustrious or coveted as “Greeny”, an iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard that has been owned by some of rock’s most influential guitar players. With a unique sound that’s as recognisable as the guitar itself, “Greeny” was previously owned by Peter Green and used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac. It was then later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist, and now, “Greeny” is owned by Kirk Hammett of Metallica — passing through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Greeny’s distinctive sound comes partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position, due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity along with tone and sustain for days!

You will be randomly allocated your ticket number(s) when ordering and you will receive an email confirmation.

If all tickets do not sell out, the draw will happen on January 13, 2025 regardless.

The live draw will take place on the Guitar Gear Giveaway Facebook page and the Guitar Talk Youtube channel using Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from all Entrants.

Once your order has been placed your ticket number(s) will be randomly allocated and will show on your order confirmation. They will also be emailed to you, and will be available in the my account area.
The draw is done live on Facebook using a random number generator to determine the winning ticket number. You’ll be contacted directly if you have won.
