Few guitars are as illustrious or coveted as “Greeny”, an iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard that has been owned by some of rock’s most influential guitar players. With a unique sound that’s as recognisable as the guitar itself, “Greeny” was previously owned by Peter Green and used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac. It was then later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist, and now, “Greeny” is owned by Kirk Hammett of Metallica — passing through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Greeny’s distinctive sound comes partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position, due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity, with classic Les Paul materials, this guitar is a fine example of how good a Les Paul can be!

The live draw will take place on the Guitar Gear Giveaway Facebook page and the Guitar Talk Youtube channel using Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from all Entrants.
