For a period of about 3 years (1958-1960 give or take a few months either side) these guitars were produced in extremely low numbers and often reaching hundreds of thousands of Pounds in today’s collector’s market. What we have here is the Custom Shop’s rendition of this first year of production and what a stunning guitar it is!
Created by some of the best craftspeople in the world, built with care from the highest quality tone woods, hardware and period correct pickups this guitar not only looks like the originals but has all of that midrange punch huge sustain and clear note definition that made these guitars the most sought after and valuable guitars of all time. With what we consider a neck on the slim side for a 58 its both comfortable, fast and provides a huge level of string bending sustain.
