ONE OF THE RAREST GIBSONS EVER MADE

WIN THIS ’85 CUSTOM SHOP FOR 85P

+100 INSTANT WINS

Have you ever heard of this guitar? No? Neither had we until Dan came across it online in his hunt for a birth year guitar! Made in the Gibson Custom Shop in 1985, the Q series was a short lived run to capitalise on the rise of super strats in the mid 80’s and rumour has it was designed to try to lure Eddie Van Halen over to Gibson. Out of the entire Q series, this particular model was the rarest configuration with less than 100 being made – making this one of the rarest Gibson models ever made becoming a very collectible piece for Gibson enthusiasts. The YouTube Channel  Trogly’s Guitar Show did an entire episode on the series and named this as his most desired model but couldn’t actually find one for his video! Stacked with 3 P90’s, a Kahler trem and a number of pickup switching options, this is one cool beast of a guitar.

  • Gibson Custom Shop 1985 Q300
  • In very good condition for a 40 year old guitar with natural finish checking
  • 3 Gibson, Clear Bobbin P90’s
  • Mahogany Body with Nitro Finish
  • Mahogany Neck
  • 12” Radius Rosewood Fretboard & 22 medium jumbo frets
  • Original USA Kahler Flyer Trem
  • Master volume, master tone, Pickup Selector & Middle Pickup Selector

What are Instant Wins?

Our Instant Win competitions have prizes allocated to predetermined ticket numbers before it launches. When you purchase tickets, if you get any of the numbers allocated to an Instant Win prize then you win that prize. Some of our Instant Win competitions also have what’s called an “End Prize”. This is a main prize draw that all the tickets go in for. So in that instance even if you don’t get an Instant Win, you will still be in with a chance of winning the End Prize.

What is an Auto Draw?

Auto draw prizes are drawn using the Think Zap random draw algorithm. The Auto Draw will take place as soon as a prize is sold out OR on the guaranteed draw date/time shown on the prize page.

All prizes have a guaranteed draw date and winner regardless of ticket sellout.

How do I get my number?

Once your order has been placed your ticket number(s) will be randomly allocated and will show on your order confirmation. They will also be emailed to you, and will be available in the my account area.

How is the winner chosen?

We host live draws every Monday and Thursday at 6pm where we randomly draw the winners using Googles Random Number Generator. We also run Auto Draw competitions that are automatically drawn using a third party random draw algorithm (Think Zap).

What if all the tickets don’t sellout?

We always draw the winner regardless of how many tickets are sold.
