Amazing to think this guitar was originally designed in 1958 as part of Gibson’s ‘Futuristic’ range alongside the Moderne and flying V, a guitar now associated with heavy rock was designed at a time before overdrive was a thing! What we have here is a stunning example in natural, showing off that beautiful mahogany grain under that super smooth nitrocellulose finish featuring the traditional Tune-O-Matic bridge, 2 powerful Gibson humbuckers. Way more versatile than you might think this guitar has a tight bottom end and sounds incredible for blues, rock and of cause metal!
