The Les Paul that started it all! This first year of production 1952 Gibson Les Paul is something we are so proud to offer!
This wonderful guitar is one of the nicest all gold Les Pauls still available, the all gold finish has retained its gorgeous lustre with little sign of greening to the finish on the body. For 71 years old the condition is excellent and while a sympathetic re-fret and a few small dings show it’s been lovingly played over the years, it’s one of the finest examples you will ever see, especially in the rare all gold finish.
While this is a rare, vintage and highly valuable guitar don’t let that make fool you into thinking it’s just a collector’s piece! This thing sounds incredible, from the bright and harmonically rich bridge pickup through to the warm and rich neck pickup, this P90 clad masterpiece is the finest Les Paul I we have ever heard. Add to that this guitar comes supplied with a MojoAxe over wrap bridge should you require an overwrap option.
We hope you guys are as excited as us guys are about this guitar as this is a rare piece of guitar history that we absolutely love! A dream of ours from the start, being able to offer you guys an original 52 Les Paul and what a stunner it is!
